The sporting community has faced some challenging years following the impacts associated with the COVID-19 crisis. Slowly tournaments have resumed, and member organisations are again starting to engage in state and national tournaments.
To assist member organisations through this difficult period, the Junior Sports Assistance Fund provided relief by waiving member contributions over the past three years, enabling clubs to rebuild and lessen any financial burden they may have experienced.
Sporting groups are a valuable asset to the community and the Junior Sports Assistance Fund is proud to be able to support its member organisations.

The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to the many local junior sports people of Mount Gambier and district who have achieved selection in a formal State team to compete at national sporting events and who are members of an affiliated contributing sporting organisation. The fund provides an ongoing pool of money for distribution to those juniors to assist with the financial burden these selections can place on regional families.
Membership of the Junior Sports Assistance Fund is comprised of the City of Mount Gambier, the District Council of Grant and a number of sporting organisations who are Members of the Fund.
