Author Angela Kirby will return to her home town of Mount Gambier to launch her latest book ‘Creating Wisdom and Magic in Life and Love’ at the Mount Gambier Library on Saturday 8 December at 11:00am.
Angela is a visual artist, trans-personal art therapist, counsellor and integrated therapist. She has a passion for helping people and being creative. In combining these two skills, Angela has provided various professional therapeutic services for clients world-wide.
Creating Wisdom and Magic in Life and Love is a journey of healing, creativity and self-expression through Mandala art and meditation. The book begins with Angela’s life story; being adopted into a loving family to the unrest she felt throughout her life and her search for answers.
Angela’s self-healing began as a teenager where she would write and create in her childhood bedroom. This set the scene for a lifelong journey of helping people.
"Angela has helped many by providing professional healing and the aim of this book is to reach a wider audience," said Team Leader Library Programs Kristi Leamey.
This is a free event and bookings can be made by contacting the Mount Gambier Library (08) 8721 2540 or via the website www.mountgambier.sa.gov.au /library under ‘Programs and Events’.
Angela’s book will be available for sale as well as art on display during her launch.
