The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund has again provided support to a local athletes to compete at national level. Aiden Cameron and Jade, Liam and Shae Delaney all recently received donations through the Lower South East Hockey Association as an affiliated organisation of the Fund. Aiden competed in the Under 15 Boys National Hockey Championships held in Wollongong earlier this year and was awarded $300, while Jade, Liam and Shae received a collective donation of $1050.
Jade, Liam and Shae have been selected in the 2018 School Sport SA State teams to attend the School Sport Australia Championships in their divisions this month. Jade has been selected in the Under 18 team to play in Berri, Liam in the Under 13 team to play in Hobart and Shae in the Under 12 team to play in Newcastle.

The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund is a joint initiative of the City of Mount Gambier, the District Council of Grant and local affiliated sporting organisations to assist local junior sports people.
