The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund has received a $2,500 boost from the Commercial Club Inc. of Mount Gambier to provide financial support for families of young sports people in our district.
Commercial Club Inc. President Graham Dent presented the donation to the Presiding Member of the Junior Sports Assistance Fund Deputy Mayor Cr Hanna Persello.
“I extend the continuing sincere thanks, appreciation and the admiration of the City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund Committee and its member organisations to the Commercial Club for its most generous annual donation to the fund,” Cr Persello said.
The total funds now donated to the fund by the Commercial Club over the past 17 years amounts to $36,000.
“The Commercial Club’s continuing support for the Junior Sports Assistance Fund and its interest in our endeavours to provide meaningful assistance to our talented young sports people is very much appreciated,” Cr Persello said.
