2023/2024 Christmas and New Year hours and services

Throughout the 2023/2024 Christmas and New Year period, Council's hours of operation and services are as follows:

BIN COLLECTION
There will be no bin collection on Monday 25 December 2023 (Christmas Day). Bins will be collected on Tuesday 26 December 2023 instead.

Please ensure bins are out by 6:00am on the day of collection.

All other bin collection days remain unchanged.

COUNCIL OFFICE (CIVIC CENTRE)
The Council office at the Civic Centre will be closed from 2:00pm on Friday 22 December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive.

Visit mountgambier.sa.gov.au or contact 8721 2555 with any enquiries. The after-hours call centre can assist during the above closure.

THE RIDDOCH ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTRE
The Riddoch will be open 10:00am to 2:00pm Friday 22 December to Sunday 24 December 2023.

Closed Monday 25 December 2023. Open all other weekdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm and weekends and public holidays from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

MOUNT GAMBIER LIBRARY
The Library will be closing at 2:00pm Friday 22 December 2023.

Closed Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024. Open all other weekdays from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm and Sundays 10:00am to 2:00pm.

MOUNT GAMBIER VISITOR CENTRE
The Visitor Centre will be closing at 4:00pm Friday 22 December 2023.

Closed Monday 25 December 2023. Open all other weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm and weekends and public holidays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

WASTE TRANSFER STATION
The Waste Transfer Station will be closed from Saturday 23 to Tuesday 26 December 2023 and Saturday 30 December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive.

Open all other weekdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm and weekends from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

CARINYA GARDENS CEMETERY OFFICE
The Cemetery office will be closed from 3:00pm Friday 22 December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive.

BLUE LAKE WELCOME CENTRE
The Welcome Centre will be closed Monday 25 December 2023.

Open all other days from 10:00am to 3:00pm from Saturday 23 December 2023 to Tuesday 9 January 2024.
